Krishi started walking!!!

On Feb 16th, Krishi took his first steps independently. He wanted to give Daddy a great gift for homecoming from his India trip :) He's graduated now to walk the entire hallway on this own. He is still to get up on his own and start walking. He also needs some incentive to walk...which is just like a true Sindhi...hahahahahaha!!! Enjoy his videos below of Krishi walking to his mamma

and Pappa.. dont miss the classic show of confidence with book throw :)

Saturdays in Krishna's week @ myGym

Every Saturday morning we pull ourselves out of bed as our little gymanst is ready to start his weekly dose of exercise. He really enjoys his one hour at the gym where he gets to play with other kids and also give a great workout to his tiny muscles. Enjoy some of his latest favorites and also some old ones..

Here is Krishna trying to build strength in his hand muscles and balance upside down.. he just loves this.

Lets go through the entire sequence in one class..

They begin the class with some Circle Time where they exercise all the muscles with moving hands and legs - up and down, side to side and reach and stretch. All of this along with wonderful music and lots of tiny friends make this is a lot of fun. They follow the circle time with some great dancing..

After this the kids get a chance to explore and work with the different play sets around the gyms .. trampoline, ball pen, slides, stairs , balls of all sizes etc. This helps them to work out different parts of the body.

After some free play, every week there are some new gym stations set up to help improve their strength and balance like in this particular week, they made the kids hang in mid air and also roll on a ball.

After this they have a creative fun game for the kids every week. Its very creative and allows for some imagination. This particular week, they created a "Car Wash" and we had to pass the kids through various phases of car wash like wash (where they blew bubbles), wipe and dry (where we passed them through hanging blocks)

And here is my sparking and clean car :) :) :).

Watch the driver get a free fall ride...

This is followed by some free play time and swings. Krishna just waits for his swings. He loves being tickled on his feet while swinging.. He looks like he is saying .. Mamma .. I love the Giant Swing as well..

After this .. they have something called as "Separation Time". Here the parents have to move to the corner of the room and all the kids are left to play alone with the teacher. This helps them to become independent and social. Here is Krishna trying to know his new friend.

Now comes the final act where the teachers at myGym give a puppet show and sing some wonderful new songs about the puppet. This particular week we had a story about a turtle and bee.. just imaginary and helps build their creativity. Look at happy Krishna.. finally nothing for him to do.. just sit back and relax !!

Finally they say Good Bye to their friends and teachers with a wonderful 'Bye Bye Hands' song.
After getting home from a wonderful workout.. Krishna gets the best nap of the week !!

Love you my baby.. my son. God Bless you !

Great news!!!

The month of February has been a great month for us given the last one year of managing Krishi's heart condition and his schedule of medicines and doctors. On Friday, Feb 13th, Krishi's cardiologist mentioned that he might not need a heart surgery in the near future and with God's grace the size of the hole in the heart has reduced. We are very thankful to God and to so many people for their support and blessings. Here's Krishi thanking God for this good health.

We thank all our family, friends, and relatives for their blessings, and support. Also, we'd like to specially thank a few people who have been instrumental in helping Krishi recover soon and they are mentioned below.
