Carter's 3rd Birthday

Krishna really enjoyed being at Carter's birthday today. Carter is a good friend of Krishna from Goddard School as well as from My Gym. They love to play with each other. Today, their favorite star "Mr. Nigel" was invited to entertain the kids on Carter's birthday and oh boy....they had so much fun. Thank you, Michelle and Chris for the wonderful time that we all had on Carter's birthday!

Fort Mill Strawberry Festival

This festival is one of the largest festivals that happens in Fort Mill that attract over 15,000 people just over the weekend. Thanks to one of our friends, Susan and Brian, that we got to know about it and had some fun together. This festival is quite similar to the way we have "melas" in India. Though it was our first "mela" that we attended in the US but for Krishi it was the very first "mela" ever. Along with Morgan and Aaron, Krishi had a great time last weekend.

Alpa's Surprise Baby Shower

Last Friday, May 6th, we were invited to Amrith and Divya's house warming party. I was specifically reminded by Divya to carry my camera :)! To our surprise our wonderful group of families of Divya, Riddhi, Pam, Chandra, and Pratibha gave a surprise baby shower to Alpa. We were so happy and had loads of fun at the party. Krishi's 1st Certificate

I can bet Krishi has no clue of what a "Certificate" means but he was happy to display it and take pictures :):):)!. His Kung-Fu Institute (The Peaceful Dragon) awarded Krishi a promotional certificate and raised him to the level of Yellow Stripe. We are proud of him and are happy that he is enjoying his classes.

 

 

Om's 3rd Birthday

When you see Krishi and Om together, we know how much they love being with each other. They have some spiritual connection beyond their brotherly relationship that makes want each other all the time. As always they had a wonderful time at Omi's 3rd birthday party at TK's Jungle in Raleigh, NC. Check out some other their pictures below and the album as well.

Our Rakhee Celebrations !

We've been fortunate to find a family here to ensure that we celebrate the festival of Rakhee dhoom dhaam se!!! Thanks to Meghna and Nitin and their kids (Ambar and Prithvi) we are now a nice big family of brothers and sisters...:):):)!!!

Let's begin with the kids first. Since last year, Krishna has been celebrating this auspicious occasion of Rakhee with his sister Ambar. Watch the videos of both the years and enjoy watching the kids celebrate Rakhee!!!

Krishna's first words..

Its amazing how quickly their cries and babbles turn into meaningful single words and then two and then sentences..
We are enjoying Krishi's first few words right now and his willingness to attempt saying any word you ask him to say even if its something like 'czechoslovakia' :):)is lots of fun !
